ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS RELATING TO EFFLUENT TREATMENT SYSTEMS.
Planning applications which propose on-site effluent treatment systems (e.g. septic tanks, mechanical wastewater treatment systems etc.) must be accompanied by a completed Site Characterisation Form. {often called “percolation tests” “trial hole test” etc.}
Please note that from 1st January 2009 Kerry County Council will only accept completed Site Characterisation Forms from members of our approved panel of site suitability assessors. Full details of the panel membership are available from the Planning Department of Kerry County Council, and on our website.
