Road Works Speed Limit Order - N22/N69 Tralee Bypass Road Improvement Scheme

In accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004, notice is hereby given that a Road Works Speed Limit Order has been made on a section of the N21 Tralee – Castleisland Road, in the interests of road safety, in order to facilitate safer egress from the site compound on the existing N21 carriageway and to carry out the construction works on the proposed roundabout in a safer manner, as part of the N22/N69 Tralee Bypass Road Improvement Scheme, in the townlands of Ballingowan (Ed Ballyseedy) and Manor East (Ed Tralee Rural)

 

The Road Works Speed Limit to be applied is 60 km/h.

The speed limit will apply for the period from Thursday, 1 September 2011 and will remain in place until Friday, 31 August 2012 (both dates inclusive).

The temporary Speed Limit signs are to be erected along the N21 between the junctions with the L-5018-0 and the L-10602-0 from approximately 680m east of the L-5018-0 to approx 170m west of the L-10602-0.

 

 

Regard shall be given to any representations that are made, in writing, to Charlie O’Sullivan,  

Director of Service, Roads, Transportation & Safety Department, Áras an Chontae, Tralee, County Kerry, in relation to this Road Works Speed Limit Order.
