Casual Trading Laws - Kenmare

Notice is hereby given that Kerry County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 6 of the Casual Trading Act, 1995 as amended by Section 98 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2007 proposes to make Bye-Laws in relation to the control, regulation, supervision and administration of casual trading in Kenmare.

A copy of the proposed Bye-Laws and map are available for inspection during normal office hours from Wednesday, 23rd November 2016 to Friday, 6th January 2017 at the following locations:

Operations & Safety Department, Room 115, KerryCounty Council, CountyBuildings, Rathass, Tralee, CountyKerryKenmare Area Office, The Library, Shelbourne Street, Kenmare, CountyKerry and are also available for inspection on Kerry County Council’s website

Kerry County Council will consider any submissions in relation to these proposals which are submitted to it in writing by any person by Friday, 20th January 2017.  Such submissions, should be marked “Casual Trading Kenmare”, and addressed to the Administrative Officer, Operations & Safety Department, Room 115, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Rathass, Tralee, County Kerry.

A person aggrieved by any of the proposed Bye-Laws may within 21 days of the date of publication of this notice appeal against such proposal to the District Court Kenmare, c/o The Court Service, Centrepoint, John Joe Sheehy Road, Tralee, Co. Kerry.
