Road Works Speed Limit Order - N22 Tralee to Killarney Road

 ROAD WORKS SPEED LIMIT ORDER

 

In accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004, notice is hereby given that a Road Works Speed Limit Order has been made on a section of the N22 Tralee to Killarney Road, on a section of local road L-6545 and on a section of local road L-10636, in the interests of road safety, in order to facilitate tie-in works in connection with the construction of the Tralee Bypass Road Improvement Scheme, thereby providing safer conditions for road users and construction workers.

 

The Road Works Speed Limit to be applied is 60 km/h.

The speed limit will apply for the period from Thursday, 11 April 2013 and will remain in place until Thursday, 10 April 2014 (both dates inclusive).

The temporary Speed Limit signs are to be erected as follows: on a section of the N22 National Primary Tralee to Killarney Road at Bealagrellagh approximately 1400m in length from a point approximately 750m northwest of the junction of the N22 and the L-6545 to a point approximately 650m southeast of the junction of the N22 and the L-6545 in the townlands of Bealagrellagh and Flembyon a section of the local road L-6545 approximately 30m northeast of its junction with the N22 at Bealagrellagh in the townlands of Bealagrellagh and Doonimlaghbegon a section of the local road L-10636 approximately 40m southwest of its junction with the N22 at Bealagrellagh in the townlands of Bealagrellagh and Ash-hill

 

Regard shall be given to any representations that are made, in writing, to Charlie O’Sullivan, Director of Service, Roads, Transportation & Safety Department, Áras an Chontae, Tralee, County Kerry, in relation to this Road Works Speed Limit Order.
