Private Peaceful

Scamp Theatre & Poonamallee by Michael Morpurgo

Adapted and directed by Simon Reade, Private Peaceful tells the life story of Private Tommo Peaceful, a young First World War soldier awaiting the firing squad at dawn. During the night he looks back at his short but joyful past growing up in rural Devon. AGE 8+

RTÉ Vanbrugh Quartet

The RTÈ Vanbrugh Quartet is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most successful string quartets. As well as presenting the core string quartet repertoire, the RTÈ Vanbrugh Quartet has consistently championed the work of Irish composers in concerts and broadcasts throughout Ireland and abroad.

Eddi Reader

Eddi Reader was brought into the limelight with Fairground Attraction and their single ‘Perfect’ and parent album First of a Million Kisses which both topped the British charts. From the traditional to the contemporary, Eddi brings to joyous life all forms of song.

Drawing Studies: A Celebration (National Gallery of Ireland)

Exhibition opens Friday 10th February at 6pm and runs till Saturday 10th March

The exhibition DRAWING STUDIES: A CELEBRATION is an exhibition of work, reflecting the artists’ studies in the Natioanl Gallery ofIreland. The resulting drawings are symptomatic of the joy and creativity that occurs when people of all ages engage with the collections of a museum.
