Are you a practicing artist based in Kerry? Would you like some practical help to develop your practice? If so, sign up for these two mentoring workshops with artist/filmmaker Lisa Fingleton.
The workshops will be highly participative and interactive. You will be supported to take stock of where you are now and plan for the future. Session 2 is a follow on from the first session so your commitment to attend both sessions is required on booking.
Each artist will be invited to informally introduce themselves and their work at the first session in order to get to know each other. You are asked to bring some images or examples of your work (hard copy or memory stick is fine).

These mentoring workshops are organised by the Kerry County Council Arts Office. The facilitator, Lisa Fingleton is an award winning artist and filmmaker. Lisa has worked as film maker in residence with Kerry, Cork, Limerick and Kildare County Councils. In July 2009 Lisa established the The Happy Artist, a creative arts project based in Balllybunion (www.thehappyartist.ie). She is the recipient of numerous awards including Bursary and Travel Awards from the Arts Council of Ireland, the ‘Emerging Artist Award’ (COE, 2009), and the ‘Patronage Award’ (Laois County Council, 2007).
