Summary
This interactive strategy is a new way of doing business; it pilots a continuous process of listing and disseminating information, of inviting public input on an ongoing basis to inform policy and respond to opportunities.
This is in the context of an extremely challenging financial climate where arts and culture must be supported in ways that may often be outside of direct financial support.
The Local Authority will continue to liaise with the Department to ensure that actions which can de delivered upon will be delivered upon. It must be acknowledged that all submissions may not be delivered upon in the context of resources available. However every effort will be made to ensure the process is effective and relevant to the needs of the sector.
