Kerry Integration Strategy 2010 - 2012

The Kerry Integration Strategy 2010 – 2012 is an initiative of the Kerry County Development Board and was launched in September 2010.  This multi-agency strategy is aimed at improving the quality of life of immigrants and focuses on actions supporting the integration of immigrants into the county.  IT is divided into four key areas:  Education and Training, Information and Networking, Employment and Access to Public/Private Services.  The plan sets out specific targets and timeframes, actions required and identifies agencies who will be working to deliver these goals.

A multi-agency Implementation Group was established with responsibility for monitoring the strategy to ensure that the targets set are being progressed according to the agreed timescale.    This group operates under the Social Inclusion Measures (SIM) Working Group, a sub-group of the CDB.
