The Environmental Services Section office is located at Maine Street, Tralee, Co. Kerry. (Between Radio Kerry Studios and the multi-storey carpark).

The Environmental Services Department has responsibility for environmental protection throughout the county. In addition, it has responsibility for the promotion of Environmental Awareness, Waste Collection, Energy Issues, Water Conservation, Enforcement, Veterinary Services, Litter Control, Recycling and Waste Reduction

Opening Hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, including lunch-time.

Opening Hours for North Kerry Landfill & Recycling Centres:

North Kerry Landfill – Mon-Fri: 9.00am to 5.00pm; Saturdays: 9.00am to 1.00pm

Milltown Transfer Station - Mon-Fri: 9.00am to 5.00pm; Saturdays: 9.00am to 1.00pm

Coolcaslagh Transfer Station (Killarney) - Mon-Fri: 9.00am to 5.00pm; Saturdays: 9.00am to 1.00pm

Caherciveen Transfer Station - Mon-Fri: 9.00am to 5.00pm; Saturdays: 9.00am to 1.00pm

Kenmare Transfer Station – Mon: 9.00am to 4.00pm; Tues-Fri: 9.00am to 5.00pm; Saturdays: 9.00am to 1.00pm

Dingle Civic Amenity Site (Flemingstown, Lispole) - Open 3 Days:- Tues 11.00am to 7.00pm; Thursday and Saturday: 9.00am to 5.00pm
