Eolaire Gaeilge ChiarraĆ launched

Eolaire Gaeilge

Eolaire Gaeilge Chiarraí, a new website for the Irish language movement in Kerry, was launched by Cllr. Pat McCarthy, Cathaoirleach and Moira Murrell, CEO of Kerry County Council on Monday the 30th November 2015 in Áras an Chontae, Tralee.

This directory eolaire.ciarrai.ie creates a single platform for organisations and businesses that offer services through Irish within the county.

“The Eolaire unites the various Irish speaking communities from the Gaeltacht and across Kerry, enhancing what Kerry has to offer to all visitors, from home or abroad” said the Council Cathaoirleach.

“This on-line directory will greatly help raise the profile of Irish across the county, providing a comprehensive listing of all things Irish in Kerry, while promoting our Gaeltacht areas as key Irish Language Tourism destinations” said the Chief Executive Officer of Kerry County Council.

This project was developed by Kerry County Council’s Oifig Gaeilge and IT Department with the support of Fóram Gaeilge Chiarraí.
