The Heritage Office is located at County Buildings, Rathass, Tralee.
The Heritage Officer deals with issues relating to all aspects of heritage including flora, fauna, wildlife, landscapes, seascapes, wrecks, heritage objects and geology.
The County Archaeologist deals with issues relating specifically to Archaeological Heritage.
The Office has responsibility for drafting and implementation of the Kerry County Council Heritage and Biodiversity Plan 2008-12.
Opening Hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, including lunch-time.
