KERRY COUNTY COUNCIL INVITES PARTICIPATION FROM LOCAL GROUPS, ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS TO BE PART OF THE IRELAND 2016 CENTENARY PROGRAMME

Kerry County Council in association with the Secretariat of Kerry Public Participation Network and the National Co-ordination Office will host open information sessions and workshops on:

Listowel, Listowel Family Resource Centre, Ballygologue, John B. Keane Rd., – 5th May – 7.30pm to 9.00pm.

Killorglin, Area Office, Library Place - 6th May (focus group meeting) – 4pm to 5.30pm

Caherciveen, Ring of Kerry Hotel, Valentia Road - 6th May – 7.30pm to 9.00pm

Tralee, Fels Point Hotel - 7th May – 7.30pm to 9.00pm

Dingle, Dingle Skellig Hotel – 13th May –7.30pm to 9.00pm

Killarney, Dromhall Hotel - 14th May - 7.30pm to 9.00pm

For anyone interested in participating in the development and delivery of Kerry’s local programme, as part of Ireland 2016. All welcome.

Interested participants are kindly requested to register their interest to attend by emailing kerry2016@kerrycoco.ie before May 5th 5pm.

Ireland 2016 is a year-long programme of activity, in which everyone is invited to participate, to commemorate the events of the 1916 Rising, to reflect on our achievements as a democratic state over the last 100 years and to look towards Ireland’s future.
