TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF ROADS ACT 1993

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, and the Temporary Closing of Roads Regulations, 1994, Kerry County Council has decided to close to public traffic the streets as detailed below in order to facilitate the holding of the
2009 Caherciveen Celtic Festival of Music and the Arts.

From 7.00 p.m. to 12 midnight on Friday, 31st July, Saturday 1st August and Sunday 2nd August, 2009

Church Street (N70) - Commencing at the Junction of the N70 (outside the Town Library) and Bridge Street to the Junction of the N70 and O’Connell’s Street.

From 12 noon on Monday 27th July, 2009 to 12 noon on Wednesday 5th August, 2009.

From Banks Corner (L4005-26) to behind the existing Library (L11903). 

To facilitate the holding of a Fun Fair.

A traffic diversion system will operate on the main approaches to the town.
