Road update @9.30am

Tralee;

  • Ballinorig Road at Reidy’s Bridge has re-opened to traffic
  • Ballymullen. The road by the Munster Bar is closed. However, the main Ballymullen road is open and passable.
  • Flooding at Annagh, but the road is passable
  • Some flooding at Skehanagh, but road is passable.

Killarney:

  • Currow: The Road by the Metal Bridge is now closed
  • Killarney-Gneeveguilla Road at Glassabawn Bridge is closed
  • Gneeveguilla-Rathmore Road is closed at Cullawaas Bridge
  • Flooding has improved somewhat at Minish and also at the Killarney side of Glenflesk by the tractor garage
  • Loreto Road, Killarney flooded
  • Golden Nugget is fine
  • Spa (Near the GAA Pitch) a lot of rubble has washed down but is being cleared.

South Kerry

  • Flooding around the South Kerry area, lot of surface water
  • Area by Kells Post Office is flooded but Crews are working on it.

Mid Kerry

  • Area around Bansha flooded but passable
  • Glenbeigh area, has been cleared by crews
  • General flooding around the area

West Kerry

  • General Spot flooding but has escaped the worst
  • Stradbally, Camp and Castlegregory areas were flooded earlier this morning, but has greatly improved.

Kenmare

  • Conditions much improved.
  • Rossacroonaloo still flooded but passable.

North Kerry

  • Tralee-Listowel Road has surface water between the Bog Village & the Six Crosses
  • Ballyduff- Abbeydorney Road, has surface water especially at The Forge & Bushmount
  • Ballylongford-Listowel Road has surface water at Gortacoco
  • Listowel-Duagh Road surface water
  • Duagh-Abbeyfeale Road surface water
  • Flooding at Ardrahan, Ardfert
