Ballybunion Half Marathon

&

10Km Road Race

 

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, and the Temporary Closing of Roads Regulations 1994, Kerry County Council is proposing to close to public traffic the roads described hereunder to facilitate the holding of the Ballybunion Half Marathon & 10Km Road Race 2012 on Saturday, 7th April 2012.

Roads Closed: R-551, L-1000 and L-1004

(Road Closing Times: from 13:30 to 17:00)

Starting at Main Street, Ballybunion via Doon Church and Kilconly, Beale, Craughdarrig, Rahavanig, Doon Church and finishing at Church Road, Ballybunion.

In addition, all adjoining public roads will be closed for a distance of 200m from each junction within the above routes.

Any person having an objection to this proposal should lodge same, in writing, with the Administrative Officer, Roads, Transportation & Safety Department, Kerry County Council, Aras an Chontae, Tralee, on or before 5.00pm on Tuesday, 20 March 2012.
