TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES ON N21 NATIONAL PRIMARY ROAD THROUGH THE TOWNLANDS OF CAHERBREAGH/CURRAGHMACDONAGH, TRALEE, CO KERRY



Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Kerry County Council proposes to install traffic calming measures on the N21 National Primary Road through the townlands of Caherbreagh/Curraghmacdonagh, Tralee, Co. Kerry.

The proposed works will consist of the installation of two new traffic calming gateways, traffic calming island at staggered junction, new kerbed junction, additional cyclelanes, new public lighting, revised road markings, advanced warning signage, any necessary accommodation works and all other associated ancillary works.

A map showing the location of the proposed measures may be inspected at the Roads, Transportation & Safety Department, Room 115, Kerry County Council, Áras an Contae, Rathass, Tralee during normal office hours, for a period of one month,
from Thursday, 3 May 2012.

Observations or representations in relation to the proposal may be made, in writing and marked Traffic Calming – N21, to the Administrative Officer, Roads, Transportation & Safety Department, Kerry County Council, Áras an Contae, Rathass, Tralee, Co. Kerry and must be received by 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 4 June 2012.
