KERRY COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

SECTION 75 OF ROADS ACT 1993

 

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, and the Temporary Closing of Roads Regulations 1994, Kerry County Council is proposing to close to public traffic the roads /streets / car parks described hereunder on the dates and times detailed below in order to facilitate the St. Patrick’s Day Parades in the towns of Killarney, Tralee and Listowel.

Main Street (Plaza Hotel to Market Cross)

New Street (from Market Cross to junction of St. Mary’s Road / Terrace)

Due to these road closures there will be restricted access to High Street

From the entrance to the Town Park on Bridge Road via The Square & William Street (N-69), Charles Street & Courthouse Road (R-553), Church Street and returning to the Square and Bridge Road  (N-69)

 

 

Any person having an objection to this proposal should lodge same, in writing, with the Administrative Officer, Operations & Safety Department, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Tralee, Co. Kerry not later than 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 28 February 2017.
