Temporary Closing of Roads - 2017 Caherciveen Festival of Music and the Arts

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF ROADS ACT 1993

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, and the Temporary Closing of Roads Regulations 1994, Kerry County Council is proposing to close to public traffic the streets as detailed below in order to facilitate the holding of the 2017 Caherciveen Festival of Music and the Arts.

From 7.00 p.m. to 12 midnight on Friday, 4th to Sunday, 6th August 2017.

Church Street (N70) - commencing at the Junction of the N70 (outside the Town Library) and Bridge Street to the Junction of the N70 and O’Connell’s Street, Caherciveen

From 9.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 1st to 12 noon on Wednesday, 9th August 2017.

From Banks Corner (L4005-26) to behind the existing Library (L11903), Caherciveen

To facilitate the holding of a Fun Fair.

A traffic diversion system will operate on the main approaches to the town. 

Any person having an objection to this proposal should lodge same, in writing, with the Administrative Officer, Operations, Capital Infrastructure and Safety Department, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Tralee, County Kerry not later than 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 11 July 2017.
