TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF ROADS ACT 1993

 

Notice is hereby given that in compliance with the Roads Act, 1993, Section 75 and the Temporary Closing of Roads Regulations, 1994, Kerry County Council is proposing to close the streets / roads / car park as detailed below in order to facilitate the holding of the Puck Fair Festival 2017 in Killorglin.

From 6.00 p.m. on August 9th - 1.00 a.m. on August 10th, 2017

Market Street, LowerBridge from Bianconi Inn to the Square (Traffic Island)

From 6.00 a.m. on August 10th - 1.00 a.m. on August 11th, 2017
From 6.00 a.m. on August 11th - 1.00 a.m. on August 12th, 2017
From 6.00 a.m. on August 12th - 1.00 a.m. on August 13th, 2017

Upper Bridge Street, The Square (To Macks Corner), Lower Bridge Street, (To Bianconi Inn), Market Street

From 6.00 a.m. on August 10th - 1.00 a.m. on August 11th, 2017
From 6.00 a.m. on August 12th - 1.00 a.m. on August 13th, 2017

Langford Street from (Macks Corner to the entrance to the Paddocks)

From 6.00 p.m. on August 9th - 1.00 a.m. on August 13th, 2017

The Mill Car Park

From 9.00 a.m. on August 9th – 9.00 a.m. on August 13th, 2017

Junction Railway Road / Aldi Carpark to Junction Railway Road / School Road (the newly opened road that links Iveragh Road to School Road).

A traffic diversion system will operate on the main approaches to the town.

Any person having an objection to this proposal should lodge same, in writing, with the Administrative Officer, Capital Infrastructure and Safety Department, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Tralee, Co. Kerry not later than 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 18 July 2017.
