Lifting of Boil Water Notice: Breanlee Water Supply

On the advice of the Health Service Executive, Kerry County Council issued a boil water notice for the Breanlee Water Supply on 13th February 2010
Kerry County Council wishes to notify consumers, following advice from the Health Service Executive, that the Council is now in a position to remove the boil water notice with immediate effect. Consumers can now resume normal use of the water supply for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.
Persons with impaired immunity are advised to consult with their GP, before resuming normal use of the water supply.
Kerry County Council / Health Service Executive will continue to meet and will review ongoing process control, monitoring and testing of this drinking water supply.
