TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF ROADS ACT 1993
BANNA BEACH RESORT WINTER STAGES RALLY
Notice is hereby given that in compliance with the Roads Act, 1993, Section 75 and the Temporary Closing of Roads Regulations, 1994, Kerry County Council has decided to close to public traffic the roads described hereunder to facilitate the holding of the Banna Beach Resort Winter Stages Rally on Sunday, 10th November 2013.
STAGES 1 & 3: LISSELTON
Road Closures from 11:00 to 17:00 on Sunday 10th November 2013
Local Roads: L-6029, L-10023, L-6019, L-1006, L-6016, L-6012, L-1004, L-6077,L-10017 and L-6009
Starting at Galey Crossroads to Knockenagh School Cross to Coolbeha Cross, Glouria Cross to Guhard Cross, Lisselton Bridge Cross to Lyre Cross, Lahesreagh Middle Cross to Lahesreagh North Cross via Urlee, and finishing at Ahafona Cross via Farranpierce
STAGES 2 & 4: THE CASHEN
Road Closing from 12:00 to 17:45 on Sunday 10th November 2013
Local Roads: L-6038, L-6097, L-6086, L-6040, L-1032, L-6041, L-6030 and L-1032
Starting at Ardcullen Cross to Ardcullen West Cross, Ayle to Cashen School, Cloghane North Cross to Kilmore Cross, Slievawaddra Cross to Ardoughter Cross, Knocknacree Cross to Clahane Cross and finishing at Lacka Crossroads.
In addition, all adjoining public roads will be closed for a distance of 200m from each junction within the above routes.
The R554 Moybella Cross to Lisselton Crossroads will be used as a SERVICE ROAD (Road Closing Times: from 11:00 to 16:00 on Sunday 10th November).
Banna Beach Car park will be closed from 14:00 on Saturday 9th of November to 13:00 on Sunday 10th of November.
