Kerry County Council Historian in Residence
Kerry County Council seeks applications for the Historian in Residence Grant Scheme 2019 as part of the Kerry County Council Decade of Centenaries programme. There is one grant of €10,000 available and the successful applicant will be required to work for 3 months (circa 20 hours per week) from January to March 2020 and includes all travel and other costs associated with the residency. The candidate will be based at Kerry Library Headquarters, Tralee.

Offers of appointment to persons who are not serving local authority employees will be based on the minimum of the relevant pay scale. Where the person being appointed is a serving local authority employee, normal starting pay rules will apply. The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy.
