Kerry County Council being the designated Action Planning Authority under Article 7 of the Environmental Noise Regulations, 2006 (SI No. 140 of 2006) has prepared a Draft Noise Action Plan to address noise from major roads in the county with traffic flows greater than 3 million vehicles per annum. The plan does not apply to noise from domestic activities, noise created by neighbours, noise at workplaces or noise inside a means of transport or due to military activities in military areas.

The draft plan and associated maps will be available for inspection from 27^th March to 8^th May 2019 during normal working hours (9.00 am to 4.00 pm) at the following locations:
