The requirement to apply on the scheduled form and pay the appropriate fee are contained in the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations 1992.
If you require a replacement document for any of the following, Form RF134 must be completed and witnessed by a member of the Garda Siochana at a Garda station and presented or posted with the appropriate fee to the Motor Tax Office, Kerry County Council, Princes Quay, Tralee, Co. Kerry. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Kerry Motor Tax Office’.

The following documents may be replaced and their cost is as follows:-

• Vehicle Registration Certificate/Log Book €12
• Tax Disc €6
• Trailer Licence €6
• Trade Plate (motorcycle) €38
• Trade Plate (all other vehicles) €86
