In accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004, notice is hereby given that a Road Works Speed Limit Order has been made on a section of the N86 National Secondary Road between Doonore North and Slieve East, and on a section of L-8013 Local Secondary Road in the interests of road safety. The Road Works Speed Limit Order is required to facilitate the construction of the N86 Doonore North to Slieve East Pavement Improvement Project.

The Road Works Speed Limit to be applied is 60 km/h.

The Road Works Speed Limit will apply from 18th February 2019 and will remain in place for the duration of the works or a period of six months, whichever is of shorter duration.

The Temporary Speed Limit Signs are to be erected:

1. On a section of the N86 Tralee to Dingle Road, approximately 2.8km in length, in the townlands of Doonore North, Doonore South and Slieve East from a point 1450m north of the junction of the N86 and the L-8013 in the townland of Doonore North to a point 1370m south of the junction of the N86 and the L-8013 in the townland of Slieve East.

2. On a section of Local Road L-8013, approximately 100m in length, in the townlands of Doonore South and Slieve East from the intersection of L-8013 with the N86 to a point 100m southeast of that point.

Regard shall be given to any representations that are made, in writing, to Mr. Charlie O’Sullivan,
Director of Service, Operations, Capital Infrastructure and Safety, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Tralee, County Kerry, in relation to this Road Works Speed Limit Order.
