Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD, and Minister of State with responsibility for Community Development and Charities, Jerry Buttimer TD, have announced the successful projects under the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2026.

The funding will provide funding supports to local community groups & organisations, particularly those who serve disadvantaged areas in rural and urban areas.  The funding is being administered by the Community Department in Kerry County Council in co-operation with the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC). 

Under the Department of Rural & Community Development’s (DRCD) Local Enhancement Programme 2026, €211,006.90 has been approved to support 240 projects in County Kerry.
