ARUP consultants were appointed by Kerry County Council to support the Council and the Castleisland Town Team to prepare a Town Centre First Masterplan and Public Realm Plan for Castleisland. Following months of background research, public engagements, surveys, and workshops, the process is now complete. The Masterplan presents a comprehensive vision for Castleisland and sets out a framework to guide the towns enhancement and sustainable growth.

The masterplan is co funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht (DRCDG)

The commitment, enthusiasm and collaboration demonstrated by the Castleisland Town Team and the broader community throughout the development of this plan has been greatly appreciated. The delivery of the actions identified in the Masterplan will be a collective effort, undertaken in close partnership with the Castleisland Town Team, local stakeholders, community organisations and wider sectoral interests. The ongoing leadership, partnership and active participation will remain central to the successful delivery and future evolution of the Masterplan.
