Community Engagement April 2025

Kerry County Council invites you to a second public engagement session for THRIVE Killarney on Tuesday 20th May from 6-8pm in the Sika Room at the Killarney Plaza Hotel. Following on from a successful first engagement evening in February this year, this event will be focused on shaping an Integrated Urban Strategy for Killarney Town Centre. There will also be a discussion on heritage buildings in the town.
The evening forms part of THRIVE Killarney and a short presentation will take place at 6:15pm. A workshop will take place afterwards for people to share their feedback and ideas.
The THRIVE programme supports local authorities and their citizens to reimagine town centres and to transform publicly owned vacant or derelict heritage buildings within those town centres through renovation, renewal, and adaptive reuse.
All are welcome to drop in at any time to listen, take part and speak to those working on the project and share their thoughts on the Killarney project.
