Féile Thrá Lí 2024: A Spectacular Celebration of Free Family Fun and Entertainment in Tralee

The vibrant town of Tralee is set to come alive with the joyous sounds of music, laughter, and celebration as the second Féile Thrá Lí Street Fest returns from August 16th to August 20th, 2024. This year, the festival promises an unforgettable experience for all ages, coinciding with the renowned Rose of Tralee International Festival, ensuring a truly magical time for residents and visitors alike.

Féile Thrá Lí, presented by Kerry County Council, is delighted to offer a wide array of free family-friendly entertainment, daytime street and park shows, nighttime stage gigs, and music performances. Highlights of the festival include lively parades, dazzling fireworks displays, and the chance to meet the beloved Roses from around the world.

Daytime Activities:

Street Performances and Theatre: Stroll through Tralee’s charming streets and parks to enjoy captivating street theatre and performances by talented artists and buskers.

Market Stalls: Discover a variety of local crafts, artisanal foods, and unique treasures at the bustling market stalls.

Family Fun Activities: Face painting, interactive workshops, storytelling sessions, and games will keep the little ones entertained throughout the day.

Nighttime Entertainment:

Live Stage Gigs: As the sun sets and the pale moon rises, the town will come alive with electrifying performances by local and international musicians on the Mobile, Square and Denny St. Stages

Parades: Join the excitement with a grand parade on Saturday night, a delightful Sunday daytime parade, and a whimsical midnight parade on Tuesday, bringing the festival to a magical close.

Fireworks Displays: Marvel at the spectacular fireworks lighting up the Tralee sky on Saturday, August 17th, and Tuesday, August 20th.
