It is proposed that the L2004 Local Road from the junction of the R558  Tralee to Fenit Road to the Junction with  Scrahan Cross, for a distance of approximately 1 km, closed from 08:00 on 26^th of May 2025 to 19:00 on 30^th of May 2025, both dates inclusive.  

The purpose of this road closure is to facilitate pavement improvement works as part of the L-2004 Quiet Road Trial Project.

An alternative route will be clearly signposted.  The proposed diversion route is shown on the attached Drawing and will also be available in the above links.

Local access on the L2006 and the L6503 for residents and emergency vehicles will remain in place during the road closure.

Any person having an objection to the these proposals should lodge same, in writing, marked Road Closure, with the Administrative Officer, Kerry National Roads Office , Kerry County Council, The Island Centre, Castleisland, County Kerry or by e-mail to [email protected]
