Kenmare Town Centre First Masterplan

PURSER consultants were appointed by Kerry County Council to support the Council and the Kenmare Town Team to prepare a Town Centre First Masterplan for Kenmare. Following months of background research, public engagements, surveys, and workshops, the process is now complete. The Masterplan presents a comprehensive vision for Kenmare and sets out a framework to guide the towns enhancement and sustainable growth.

Rooted in heritage and framed by nature, Kenmare will evolve as a thriving town centre- a great place to live, work and visit, where community, culture, enterprise and the environment come together”

The Masterplan is now available to view at the link below:

The masterplan is co funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht (DRCDG).

The commitment, enthusiasm and collaboration demonstrated by the Town Team and the broader community throughout the development of this vision has been greatly appreciated. The delivery of the actions identified in the Town Centre First Masterplan will be a collective effort, undertaken in close partnership with the Kenmare Town Team, local stakeholders, community organisations and wider sectoral interests. The ongoing leadership, partnership and active participation will remain central to the successful delivery and future evolution of the Masterplan.
