Kerry County Council has decided to close to public traffic the L6511 Local Road from the junction of the L6511 with the R878 Oakpark Road at Forge Cross Roundabout, for a distance of approximately 1.2 km, to the junction of the L6511 with the R556 Abbeydorney Road for the following period:

• From 08:00 on 28^th of April 2025 to 18:00 on 2^nd of May 2025, both dates inclusive.  

The purpose of this road closure is to facilitate outfall drainage works from the Tralee Northern Relief Road Section A Road Project.

An alternative route will be clearly signposted.  The proposed diversion route is shown on the attached Drawing and will also be available to view on www.kerrycoco.ie

Local access on the L6511 for residents and emergency vehicles will remain in place during the road closure.
