It is proposed that the L6511 Local Road from the junction of the L6511 with the R878 Oakpark Road at Forge Cross Roundabout, for a distance of approximately 1.2 km, to the junction of the L6511 with the R556 Abbeydorney Road in Listellick South townland will be closed for the following period:

• From 8:00am on Monday 16^th May 2022 to 8:00am on Monday 17^th October 2022 (Five Months)

The purpose of the road closure is to facilitate the construction of a new road bridge over the Big River as part of the Tralee Northern Relief Road Project. The proposed road closure is necessary for construction works and for public safety.

Access will remain open for residents and for emergency vehicles, within the extents of the road closure. An alternative route will be clearly signposted.  Proposed diversion routes (via Killeen Road, Tralee, Co. Kerry), can be viewed on www.kerrycoco.ie.

Any person having an objection to these proposals should lodge same, in writing, with the Administrative Officer, Kerry National Roads Office, Kerry County Council, The Island Centre, Castleisland, Co. Kerry or email to [email protected] not later than 4.00 p.m. on Monday 25^th of April 2022.
