KERRY COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF ROADS ACT 1993

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, and the Temporary Closing of Roads Regulations 1994, Kerry County Council has decided to close to public traffic the following road:

Road: R551 Ardfert Village (from Farranwilliam Cross to Glandore Gate)
Road Closing Times: from 8.00 a.m. on Monday, 9 October 2017 to 6.00 p.m. on Friday, 27 October 2017, both dates inclusive.

The purpose of the road closure is to facilitate the construction of the Ardfert Sewerage Scheme (construction of a new Storm Sewer through the Village).

Access will be provided for Emergency Services, businesses and local residents at all times.
Diversions will be in place via the L-2002 Ardfert Village Cross – Sackville Cross – Ballylahive Cross and via the L-2009 Ballylahive Cross – Tubrid Station Cross – Ballinsaire Cross (on the R551).
