Temporary Closing of Roads - New Year’s Eve Fireworks on Sunday, 31st December 2017

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF ROADS ACT 1993

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, and the Temporary Closing of Roads Regulations 1994, Kerry County Council is proposing to close to public traffic the streets as detailed below in order to facilitate the holding of the New Year’s Eve Fireworks on Sunday, 31st December 2017.

Kerry County Council will close a section of Denny Street, from its junction with Park Lane to Ivy Terrace, to traffic from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. AND a section of Ivy Terrace from its junction with Prince’s Quay to its junction with entrance road to Abbey car park adjacent to the controlled pedestrian crossing. There will be no parking on Denny Street from Park Lane to Ashe Hall from 1.00 p.m. on Sunday, 31st December 2017.

All parked cars should be removed from Denny Street and around Ashe Hall by 4.00 p.m. on Sunday, 31st December 2017. Any cars left parked on Denny Street after 4.00 p.m. will be at risk of being removed.

Any person having an objection to this proposal should lodge same, in writing, with the Administrative Officer, Operations and Safety Department, County Buildings, Tralee, County Kerry not later than 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 12th December 2017.
