Town & Village Renewal Scheme 2025 funding announcement
€1,719,939 allocated to projects across Kerry under the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht’s (DRCDG) 2025 Town & Village Renewal Scheme Programme
The Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD, has announced funding of €26 million for 116 projects in rural communities across the country.
The funding, which is provided under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme (TVRS), is being invested in projects that will rejuvenate town centres, drive economic growth and town footfall, combat dereliction and vacancy, develop pedestrian zones and outdoor spaces and boost tourism in rural Ireland.
Under the Department of Rural & Community Development and the Gaeltacht (DRCDG) Town and Village Renewal Scheme (TVRS) 2025, €1,719,939 has been approved to support 7 projects in County Kerry.
