Applications Invited<\/strong><\/p>\n The Department of Culture, Heritage, and the Gaeltacht has announced the Structures at Risk Fund for 2018<\/strong> with a total (countrywide) fund available of \u20ac1.324 million.<\/p>\n Application forms and particulars for the above scheme are available to download here:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The purpose of the SRF is to assist with works to safeguard structures included in the\u00a0Record of Protected Structures<\/strong>\u00a0and structures which contribute to the character of Architectural Conservation Areas.<\/p>\n Only structures or parts of structures in\u00a0immediate danger of significant deterioration<\/strong>\u00a0will qualify for consideration for funding by the Department.<\/p>\n The total value of available funding shall not exceed 80% of the total project cost.<\/p>\n The minimum level of funding available under the SRF will be \u20ac15,000 up to a maximum grant of \u20ac30,000.<\/p>\n The minimum level of funding available under the SRF for a project submitted in respect of a historic house in private ownership will be \u20ac5,000 up to a maximum of \u20ac10,000.<\/p>\n Kerry County Council may submit 5 applications to the Department for consideration and one of these must be for an Irish Historic House in private ownership.
