The AgriTech Centre of Excellence (ACE)
The AgriTech Centre of Excellence (ACE), headquartered at the Munster Technological University (MTU) is a collaboration between Dairymaster, McHale Engineering, Abbey Machinery, Kerry County Council and MTU develop cutting edge learning and development solutions for the AgriTech sector.
ACE offers a new and exciting approach to AgriTech sectoral learning, development and research. ACE uses immersive learning technologies such as e-learning and virtual reality platforms to deliver excellence in learning and development for the AgriTech sector. Industry-led, ACE works to enhance the capabilities of Ireland’s AgriTech companies, enabling them to expand their reach and global ambition.
The vision is to position Ireland at the forefront of the international AgriTech industry.
The ACE centre is co-funded by our partners and the Regional Enterprise Development Fund (REDF) administered through Enterprise Ireland.
KerrySciTech, based at the Tom Crean Business Centre at MTU, North Campus, Tralee is a not-for-profit organisation led by industry and supported by Kerry County Council and the Munster Technological University (MTU). The dual aim of KerrySciTech is to highlight and promote Kerry as a flagship location for science and technology companies, by connecting and promoting, influencing, and developing Kerry’s science, technology and engineering ecosystem. Together with promoting Kerry as the ideal location to invest and work.
The RDI HUB
Based in Killorglin, the RDI Hub offers a state-of-the-art workspace for tech teams and innovators to collaborate and create. The RDI Hub offers accelerator programmes to help business and individuals scale and connect with investors, mentors, pioneering technology and R&D to accelerate tech innovation.
Supported by Enterprise Ireland, FEXCO, Kerry County Council and Munster Technological University, the RDI provides a dynamic environment where a vibrant community of start-ups and corporates focused on scale.
