Social Enterprise Capital Grants Scheme 2021

Social Enterprise Capital Grants Scheme 2021 – Application Form

The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys, TD, recently, announced a total of €29,560.47 in funding for social enterprises in Kerry.

The Social Enterprise Capital Grants Scheme 2021 will provide funding for the purchase of equipment or the carrying out of repairs or refurbishments to enable social enterprises to improve their service delivery. The Scheme does not provide funding for operating costs or administrative costs.

The scheme is to be rolled out through the network of Local Community Development Committees (LCDC’s). In this regard, we are now inviting social enterprises across the County to apply for funding under the scheme.

It is anticipated that the small-scale nature of the grants under this scheme will particularly benefit smaller or start-up social enterprises which do not necessarily have the capacity to compete for larger grants, but which nonetheless have a need for upgraded/additional equipment to help them to deliver their services.
