The counting of votes for the local elections will be overseen by the Kerry County Council Returning Officer. The opening of all Kerry ballot boxes will begin on Saturday, 8 June at 9am at the Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre.

The counting of votes will take place subsequently at two count centres, the Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre in Killarney and the John Mitchels GAA Clubhouse in Tralee.

Arrangements for the attendance of candidates and their agents at the count centres will be provided to candidates and the political parties.
